Plan A Get-Together At Your Apartment in Noida

A long week packed with schedules and deadlines often compels you to sink into your bed for that long-awaited nap during weekends. But for a few, the plan is different. They await the weekend not to crash out on their beds, but to throw a get-together with friends and close-knit colleagues. This is when the planning begins long before the week starts.

If you seek advice, plan a dinner party on a Saturday night. This will give you ample opportunity to enjoy the scene and be left with a Sunday to rejuvenate after a long night. If you own a small apartment in Noida, like I do, you will have a fair idea of how to use your space to best entertain your guests, and if not; try out by re-arranging your furniture to create ample space to move around without hindering the party scene.

Though most properties in Noida are famous for their spacious rooms irrespective of being a 1, 2, 3BHK or a studio apartment, the need is to ensure that you enjoy the party rather than spending too much time figuring on-the-spot arrangement to fit your guests and their comfort level.

All week, what I did was to plan a springtime supper theme at my apartment in Noida. I own a small space, and hence, I utilised the empty section between my sitting area and the kitchen as the entertainment zone. I pushed the dinning furniture a bit to the corner leaving ample space to move around it and converted the empty space into a party set-up. I shifted the coffee table between the set of ottomans and stools. These are excellent options if you want to create ample sitting arrangement and leave space for movements as well.

Next, I created a Menu list of what will be served to my guests that night and sent an invite too with a mention of the menu. I felt almost inspired by the entire process and was more enthused than my guests, if I may say so. If you are feeling inspired too, its good news then! It is okay to shift items you do not require to one corner and bar it with a divider – a curtain divider would do the job, but if you have a proper divider stand, nothing can beat it. Avoid using too many lights around; instead use a central chandelier that offers enough lightning and that will set the mood straight and well.
